Abuja, Nigeria — Nov. 23rd, 2025
Ahead of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in
Davos, Switzerland, the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr.
Jumoke Oduwole, has held a strategic engagement with the Nigeria House
Davos team to align national priorities and strengthen coordination among
key stakeholders supporting Nigeria’s participation at the global forum.
Speaking on the engagement, Dr. Oduwole noted that the meeting was aimed at ensuring coherence, clarity of purpose, and effective collaboration as Nigeria prepares for a strong and unified presence at Davos 2026.
In furtherance of this objective, the Federal Ministry of
Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) has inaugurated a Nigeria House
Davos Steering Committee, under the chairmanship of the Honourable
Minister. The committee brings together strategic representation from the Federal
Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and selected
private-sector partners, including Eviola & Co, Lex-Con Advisory,
Victoria Chambers, and UFAM Services.
The Steering Committee is tasked with providing strategic oversight, policy alignment, and stakeholder coordination to ensure that Nigeria House Davos 2026 delivers measurable outcomes in investment attraction, trade promotion, and international engagement.
According to the Minister, the initiative reflects a deliberate and unified national approach to global economic diplomacy. “Together, we are presenting a clear and coordinated national commitment to global engagement, investment attraction, and projecting a strong Nigerian voice on the world stage,” she said.
Nigeria House Davos serves as Nigeria’s flagship engagement
platform at the World Economic Forum, convening policymakers, investors,
development partners, innovators, and global business leaders. The 2026 edition
is expected to further amplify Nigeria’s reform agenda, industrial ambitions,
and opportunities across priority sectors of the economy.
Preparations for Nigeria House Davos 2026 are ongoing, with
further announcements on programming and participation to be made in the coming
months.
